Thank you for what was one of the best, most productive rehearsals of the year. I really appreciate all of you for your hard work, dedication, stamina and high art. Keep the pace and the faith. Here’s the next round:
Panta Rhei – prep m. 112 through 119, memorize m. 81 through 96
Hymn to the Dawn – memorize all
War – memorize m. 25 through 35
Famine – prep m. 40 through 56, memorize m. 14 through 24
Death – prep m. 30 through 49, memorize m. 11 through 22
Ani Ma’amin – review main tune, pronunciation, follow indicated crescendos
Past Life – prep E to end, memorize D1 to D2 (remember final chant is only half length)
Work from last week that needs to be covered/reviewed this week:
Famine – prep m. 25 through 39
Panta Rhei – memorize 1 through 80
Hymn to the Dawn – intonation and beach ball entrances
Kasar – memorize music/claps for pages 10, 11, 12 (ignore circle 8 instruction for feet, just use right hand against leg)
I would add that prepping the pitches for Jeremiah’s pieces should definitely be a priority because there’s no faking them.
P.S. Also, I kept meaning to pass along Ivo Antognini’s reply: Thank you very much for your reply. The message that you are giving is very important. People NEED positive things. I wish you a wonderful concert, and if you ever will do a recording of my great spirit, please send it to me. Have a nice day and enjoy my music. IVO
P.P.S. Here’s the picture I totally love of our narrator, Paul, in Japan with dreamcatchers. I can’t wait for you all to meet him.
